| Dr. Hamilton has been with
WhelpWise for the past two years. He moved to Colorado from New Jersey
to pursue his education. He completed his undergraduate degree at CSU in
Psychology and then continued on at Colorado State University to get his
veterinary degree. While in veterinary school Dr. Hamilton did
funded behavior research aimed at increasing the well-being of research
dogs. He is also was the president of the student chapter of the
American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior. After graduating from
CSU, Dr. Hamilton went into private practice in Las Vegas while
maintaining his license in Colorado. Dr. Hamilton role as staff
veterinarian is similar to the rest of the staff but also includes
phone consultations with referring veterinarians not familiar with the
service.
Dr. Hamilton is not the primary veterinarian for any of our clients unless he has met with them personally, he is not available for diagnosis or treatment advise of medical conditions /situations unrelated to the WhelpWise service, nor will he prescribe medication or comment on the medications already prescribed to you by your veterinarian. |
